CONTRIBUTION DISCLAIMER FOR NORMAN FOR SHERIFF
Thank you for supporting the Norman for Sheriff campaign. Your contribution plays a crucial role in our efforts to promote effective law enforcement and community safety. Please read the following terms carefully before making a voluntary contribution:
ELIGIBILITY:
1. To donate to the Norman for Sheriff campaign, you must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e. hold a green card). We also require that you legally be 18 years of age.
2. We appreciate your support, but your contribution cannot be legally made anonymously. We will require your full name and complete street address to process your contribution.
3. You are affirming that this contribution is made from your own funds, and funds are not being provided to you by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
4. Any and all online contributions are freely and voluntarily completed independently by the contributor.
5. You are making this contribution with your own personal credit card or debit card and not with a card associated with a corporate account or entity in any way.
CONTRIBUTION RULES:
1. Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
2. Corporate contributions are not permitted by Ohio law, and thus cannot be accepted from either a domestic or foreign corporation.
3. This website’s online payment processor charges approximately 4% per transaction, which will also be added to your contribution upon the completion of your transaction.
Ohio Candidacy Law for Online Contributions: Pursuant to Ohio law, all online political contributions must clearly state the source of each contribution, and campaign committees and treasurers must maintain detailed records of all contributors for transparency and reporting purposes. The Norman for Sheriff campaign complies with all state and federal laws governing political contributions, including any and all reporting requirements.
Refund Policy: If you have made an error while transacting your contribution or have changed your mind about contributing to the Norman for Sheriff campaign, we will honor your request for a refund made within fifteen (15) days of your contribution.
